Our founder, Eddie Tsui, had an idea to create a restaurant that was more than a place that served great food. Eddie wanted to give locals a place where they’d always feel at home. A place where they could get no-nonsense food at down-to-earth prices, and where they’d be treated right.

He started with a small Chinese restaurant modestly situated in the heart of Falls Church, Virginia. The Peking Gourmet Inn gradually built a reputation for good cooking – fresh ingredients, clear and bold favors – as well as for genial service. Soon La was driven to expand. And to expand again. The place was an ever-growing success, and weekend diners could expect a long line for tables.

Eddie instilled the culture at Peking Gourmet before a mission statement was written down on paper, which is still evident today. At the Peking Gourmet, guests, team members, and the community are all treated with respect.  We’re well known for our Garlic Sprouts grown on our family farm in Purcellville, Virginia. Our signature Lamb Chops, our famous drinks, international wines, and our main dish: Peking Duck served with delicious pancakes and real hoisin sauce. All are served in a distinctly elegant but casual style, enjoyed over good times with great family and friends. The Peking Gourmet Inn offers simple, honest, genuine food. Never pretentious.
